Meta Horizon Platform data
If you use Meta Horizon Platform features, we may receive or process information provided by Meta that is necessary for the game to work, such as your Meta user ID, display name, username, profile/avatar information, friend or party information, entitlement status, and other platform data required for login, matchmaking, multiplayer sessions, invites, achievements, leaderboards, or platform services.

Gameplay and multiplayer data
We may process gameplay information such as race results, lap times, checkpoint times, scores, rankings, progression, unlocked content, session/lobby information, matchmaking data, and multiplayer connection status. This data is used to provide gameplay features, multiplayer races, leaderboards, achievements, progression, and game balance improvements.

Technical and diagnostic data
We may process technical information such as device type, headset model, game version, operating system version, performance data, crash reports, error logs, connection data, IP address, and server logs. This data is used to operate the game, fix bugs, improve performance, prevent abuse, maintain security, and provide support.

Support communications
If you contact us by email or through any support channel, we may collect the information you provide, such as your email address, name, message content, screenshots, videos, crash details, or other information needed to answer your request.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data such as health information, biometric information, precise location, religious beliefs, political opinions, or payment card details.

- To enable Meta Horizon Platform features such as login, entitlement checks, multiplayer, matchmaking, friends, invites, achievements, and leaderboards.

- To improve gameplay, stability, performance, balancing, and user experience.
- To detect, prevent, and investigate cheating, abuse, fraud, or technical issues.
- To respond to support requests and communicate with users when needed.

4. Sharing of data
We do not sell your personal data.

We may share or process data with service providers only when necessary to operate the game, such as platform providers, multiplayer/backend service providers, hosting providers, crash reporting tools, analytics tools, or customer support services. These providers may process data on our behalf only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Some data may also be processed by Meta according to Meta’s own privacy policy and platform terms when you use Meta Horizon Platform features.

5. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the game, operate online features, maintain security, resolve support requests, comply with legal obligations, or improve the game. When data is no longer needed, we will delete it or anonymize it where reasonably possible.

Server logs, diagnostic data, and crash information may be kept for a limited period for security, debugging, and maintenance purposes. Gameplay data linked to your account, such as rankings, progression, achievements, or leaderboard data, may be kept while the game services remain active unless you request deletion.

To help us find your data, please include your Meta username, Meta user ID if available, and any other relevant information such as the platform you play on. We may need to verify your request before deleting data.

After receiving a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymize the personal data we control, unless we are required to keep certain information for legal, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate operational reasons. We will respond to deletion requests within a reasonable time and, where required by law, within the applicable legal deadline.

You may also manage or delete some platform-related data through your Meta account settings. Data controlled directly by Meta must be managed through Meta’s own privacy tools and policies.

7. Children’s privacy
Vertigo Rush is not intended to knowingly collect personal data from children under the minimum age required by applicable law or by the Meta Horizon Platform. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at sumalab@sumalab.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it where required.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
